From Chaos to Flow

I grew up in a wildly creative, entrepreneurial and troubled family. I’ve walked the edges and found the centre.

I believe flow isn’t just a performance edge; it’s a path to reclaim our birthright of clarity, resilience, and joy.

A lover of poetry, pilgrimage, gardening, jazz, I live in East Sussex, UK with my husband, stepdaughter, and beloved menagerie.

  • with the right mind

    all walls go out

    we are that

    ocean of potential

    where life starts life

  • Lou’s profound knowledge in the psychological, business, and spiritual realms not only allows for cross-pollination of ideas, but empowers me to grow in a holistic way. She is truly authentic, meaning that I can connect to her on a very deep and personal level, and truly open up new perspectives.

  • Lou has proven to be the most incredibly insightful, funny, shrewd guide through the fears and blockages that have so often held me back in my writing career. I recommend her unreservedly and wholeheartedly. She will really help you to catch and channel the lightning, the spark, the inspiration we all seek.

  • Navigating non-ordinary states is a fascinating, mystical experience. Having someone as gifted as Lou guiding me has allowed me to flourish and walk my path with confidence. An expert horse tamer for the soul, who can hold space for your experiences whilst maintaining her lovely and vibrant spirit. She’s a true gem.

  • Lou was our lucky charm. From the first day of the Jaipur Literature Festival, she became a much loved, essential member of our core team, as we took the festival from boutique to global. She is an extraordinary writer, editor and leader, producing, managing and editing astonishing amounts of content in real time during the festivals in India and London, under huge time pressure and tech constraints.

She ran her teams of writers, photographers and sub- editors with precision, laughter and elegance, earning
their admiration and devotion. She also created and judged our International Writers Competition, and ran our writers programme for many years, discovering and mentoring young writers, a number of whom have gone on to make their mark.

    - Sanjoy Roy, Producer, Jaipur Literature Festival

  • Lou‘s chapter in Breaking Open: Finding a Way Through Spiritual Emergency is often highlighted by readers as particularly moving and beautiful. Her talks also deeply connect with audiences. She has the ability to mix together poetry, psychology and spiritual wisdom, with humour and empathy.

    - Jules Evans, philosopher, author, editor of www.ecstaticintegration.org

  • Lou is doing something different. She is writing right on the edge, with genuine voice and flow. It is risky, highly original, highly ambitious and there is great power in it. She is up there with the best of them.
