My Story – From Chaos to Clarity
I grew up in a wildly artistic, ambitious and troubled family—a crucible of creativity and chaos. As a child, I found solace in writing, horses, and nature, escaping into the wild of the world and of my imagination.
Later, I chased freedom through jazz bars, meditation retreats and pilgrimages through Europe, the Himalayas and Peru, seeking meaning amid both hedonism and spiritual longing. Behind the adventure followed a shadow: complex trauma from a family marked by mental illness, addiction, and abuse. It shaped my double sight - a gift for seeing light and dark, beauty and pain.
Midlife brought seismic shifts—family bereavement, my best friend’s suicide, menopause, and injury, while geographies and scenes ended with lockdowns, moving cities and starting again. Grief, overwhelm and disorientation scattered me to the winds.
Within the wreckage, a spark endured and grew brighter as I rebuilt - not by bypassing pain, but by integrating my practice of somatic psychology and practical spirituality with the neuroscience of flow, accompanied by a deepened understanding that the shadow can’t be cast without the light.
Today, I live in East Sussex with my soulmate, stepdaughter, and beloved golden retriever, grounded in love, nature, and purpose.
My Expertise – A Life of Impact
For over 20 years, I’ve drawn on my own experience of navigating chaos to help people find their innate power, blending neuroscience, self authoring, somatic psychology, and spiritual technologies. My work has spanned child therapy at Great Ormond Street Hospital, equine therapy with wild ponies, and leading teams at global art festivals and events.
In 2016 I set up pioneering trauma recovery and resilience programmes with young asylum seekers in East Sussex, including those who had escaped Isis and the Taliban.
As an award-winning poet, I’ve been praised as “up there with the best of them” (Times Literary Supplement). My chapter in Breaking Open explores spiritual emergence/y, inspiring thousands, and my talks include TEDx, the London Philosophy Club, the Psychedelic Society and the British Psychological Society.
I’m one of only 5,000 coaches certified by the Flow Research Collective, trained to unlock peak performance and life design through flow states.
Many coaches can’t hold or transmute the dark, the messy, the chaotic.
Many therapists can’t access or anchor expanded states of consciousness, or facilitate life design for peak performance.
I am unusually placed to do both.
My Mission – Your Path To Flow
My mission is to guide high-performers—creatives, entrepreneurs, and leaders awake to these times—to unlock flow states and live their highest purpose. In a world of collapsing systems, I believe flow isn’t just a performance edge; it’s a path to reclaim clarity, resilience, and joy. I blend cutting-edge neuroscience, somatic psychology, and ancient wisdom to help you navigate chaos with purpose.
I’ve walked the edges—trauma, spiritual emergence, and creative fire—and emerged with tools to transform pain into power. My approach is for mavericks, pattern-breakers, and visionaries who crave authenticity over polish, depth over dogma. Whether you’re scaling a business, creating art, or redefining your legacy, I’m here to help you integrate your gifts with practical systems.
We’re at a cultural crossroads. The old ways are crumbling, and a new story is emerging—one of connection, creativity, and courage. My work is about democratizing flow, making it your birthright, not a luxury. Let’s build a life that’s gritty, real, and luminous—one that honors your soul’s spark.
The darkness also contains truths that could bring the light to its knees.
